WELL done once again to the cash-strapped York council. At the end of October the first phase of illuminating some historic sites in the City at a cost of £1.8 million is to be introduced.
All this to encourage people into the city centre in the evenings. If the Lib Dems had listened to the electorate on the increased parking charges, which forced people out of the city, then they would not have had to encourage them back.
But the Lib Dems never seem to be wrong, only the electorate.
