York City Knights winger Peter Fox has been presented with the inaugural LHF National League Two Top Try-Scorer award.
Fox crossed the try line 21 times in the Knights NL2-winning league season to top the table by three tries and was also named in the NL2 All Star team at the end-of-year awards.
The 20-year-old, who was on a season-long loan from Leeds and may yet return next term depending on his first-team chances at Headingley, said: "It's a great honour to claim the first-ever LHF 'Top Try Scorer' award.
"This has been a fantastic season both for York and me personally. I've developed so much as a player and this award makes it all the more special."
Jane Fenwick, LHF's head of marketing, added: "We introduced this award to recognise the prolific talent of the National Leagues and Peter has proved this league is of high quality."
