I WOULD like to urge any Evening Press readers who fancy a challenge to consider running the Flora London Marathon for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The ballot for places in next year's marathon closes on Friday, October 21 and if you want to be one of the 36,000 runners pounding the capital's streets next April then don't delay, get an application form today.
Last year over 4,500 hours of Marie Curie nursing was provided in the Selby & York Primary Care Trust, caring for seriously-ill cancer patients in their own homes, free of charge.
By running the Flora London Marathon for Marie Curie Cancer Care, you will be helping us provide practical support for people with cancer and their families at a very tough time.
Completing a marathon is a tremendous achievement and one that will stay with you for the rest of your life. And if you sign up to be part of the Marie Curie Cancer Care team we will provide you with unrivalled support.
For further details, please call me on 01904 621000.
