I WAS wondering if any of your readers, or indeed any member of the council, can answer a conundrum going round in my head.

As we know grey bins are to be emptied by council staff fortnightly, the waste then being taken to landfill.

If people are then going to the tip in the intervening weeks does this waste not end up in landfill sites?

If people are taking their refuse to the tip on alternate weeks the council still has the same amount of rubbish to dispose of.
