FOUR of the six shops which resulted from an award-winning conversion at the former York College For Girls in Low Petergate, York, have now been let.
Tenants include top fashion outlets Jaeger and Noa Noa.
The Rugby Shop has also opened its doors there and Glasgow company Kindom, which sells handbags and accessories, has also booked its place.
Richard Sharp, of chartered surveyors Behrens Sharp, said there was growing interest in the two remaining shops for let.
One is alongside Jaeger and consists of 560sq ft on the ground floor at an annual rent of £42,500 and the other, in the Georgian part of the main school, is 800sq ft on the ground and first floor at a yearly rent of £35,000.
As reported in the Evening Press last month, the project to convert the former college into a restaurant, shops and 19 apartments earned its development team the "outstanding achievement" award at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors' Pro Yorkshire Awards.
