The future of primary school netball is well under way with the arrival of High Five netball to York.
Special features of the adapted game for Year 5 and 6 pupils include having only five players on court with wing attack and wing defence dropped, and a rotation system to give everyone a go at each position.
Players are also encouraged to get involved with timekeeping and scoring when off court.
Festivals have been organised at All Saints and Lowfield for their respective primary schools, and 26 coaches and teaching assistants attended a special High Five training day at Burnholme Community College.
