Long-distance runner Charlotte Myers has turned her talents into yet more rewards with a silver medal at the British Schools' Orienteering Score championships.
The Huntington School Year 9 student School finished second of 200 orienteers at Shipley Country Park in Derbyshire.
Score orienteering is about hitting as many controls as possible within an allotted time, and Charlotte, who last year won the Yorkshire Schools' championship, reached 20 of the 29 inside 45 minutes to earn her silver.
