I AM training to be a clinical psychologist at the University of Leeds. For my thesis I am investigating a phenomenon known as "post-traumatic growth", which is where a person feels they have gained some positive benefits from going through a traumatic event.
I am looking for willing participants to be interviewed. Participants need to have experienced a traumatic event (accident or illness) which has left them with a disability.
It would be useful to have some participants who have a positive story to tell, but also because I want to get a balanced view it would also be useful to have some participants with a neutral or negative story to tell.
There will be a small payment for participation in the study and travel expenses will be paid.
If you would like more information about participating in this study please e-mail me at ugmylw@leeds.ac.uk. Thank you.
