Division two leaders Shipton maintained their flying start with a 5-0 romp over Hemingbrough. West and Evans hit two goals apiece with Blake the lone marksman after half-time.

Hot on Shipton's tail are Cueball Fulford, who beat Burnholme 5-3. An Andrew Thompson hat-trick with further strikes from Darren Malloy and Matty Simpson gave Cueball the points with Burnholme relpying courtesy of a Steve Hudson double and Mark Mitchell.

In division three, the top two went head to head with the result coming out in favour of leaders Skelton, whose Michael Heels hit a brace to beat Copmanthorpe.

Elsewhere, Acomb Celtic won 6-3 against Beeswing mainly thanks to a great five-goal barrage from Scott Dickinson.

In division five, Acorn roared back from 5-1 down to New Earswick - Lindsey (3) and Thompson (2) being the scorers - to win 6-5.
