ISN'T it rather strange that the wedding of Coun Ann Reid's daughter took place on August 12 and yet it wasn't until almost two months later that someone decided to muddy the waters and bring to the notice of the general public the service which her wedding motorcade allegedly abused?
I have yet to see any letters of condemnation from other motorists who also enjoyed the benefits of the "green lane".
At that time on a Friday, and on that route, there must have been quite a few.
Now that she has helped "prove" that particular system perhaps she might care to travel, as a motorist, through other traffic-light controlled areas of York to see where improvements can be made to the often inefficient system in operation at present. Or does the Lib-Dem Council, like its Labour predecessors, have something against motorists?
