HAT-TRICK hero Steve Sailes sank Ryedale Sports Club as Black Swan, Pickering, stormed to a 2-1 RJF Homes Beckett League division one victory.
After Marc Dobson shot Swan in front after only 47 seconds, Sailes struck with a 15-yard volley, a diving header and a close range effort after Charlie Elvidge had saved his penalty. John Scoble completed Swan's scoring with a fine solo effort.
Ryedale's Danny Meade was sent off for deliberate handball which led to the Sailes penalty and was later joined in the dressing room by Carl McLaren, who saw red late in the game.
On target for Ryedale were Paul Lakin, whose corner was helped into the net by Swan goalie David Sturgess, and Johnny Wilson.
Second-placed Union Rovers beat Kirkbymoorside Reserves 1-0 with Paul Holder scoring the goal after 25 minutes.
Gillamoor increased their lead at the top by coming from behind to beat Heslerton 5-1 with goals from Craig Ibbotson (2 pens) Luke Taitson, Paul Brackley and Dean Fawcett. Mark Featherstone's free-kick had fired Heslerton ahead.
First half goals by Tom Ellison, Andrew Kendrew and Paul Downes gave Norton United Reserves a 3-0 win at Crayke.
Kirkdale United eased into the next round of the Gordon Harrison Memorial Trophy after a comfortable 4-1 win at Ampleforth, Ashley Windress (2), Ian Prendergast and substitute Cian Sweeney netted for Kirkdale with Peter Hogan getting the home side's consolation.
Phil Smith and Mike Brown were on target as Old Malton 3rds defeated Coxwold 2-0.
First division Slingsby eventually proved too strong for St Clement's WMC, winning 6-1 - although they only had a Darren Dyer goal to show for their efforts.
Fraser Land, Jamie Ward, Simon Collier, Paul Cook and an own goal completed the Slingsby scoring while Mark Harrison was on target for St Clement's.
Aislaby ran riot at Duncombe Park, winning 7-0 with strikes from Nick Wilkinson, Bobby Brewer (2), Kenny Temple, (2), Adam Hornby and Matty Gardener.
