UNLUCKY York City left-back Nathan Peat suffered another minor setback in his reserve team comeback from a niggling calf problem during Tuesday night's 0-0 draw at Darlington.
Peat was forced out of the action on 25 minutes when he received another kick right on the spot of his deep bone bruising.
The former Hull City defender originally sustained the injury after being accidentally kicked by team-mate Lev Yalcin in training at the start of September.
He then received a further blow in the same area on his first-team return at Gainsborough Trinity in the FA Cup last month and his calf was given a third whack at Darlington but the pain from his latest clash is already easing.
City physio Jeff Miller has consulted Lilleshall for advice on the injury and Peat has also received electro-magnetic treatment but the injury, more frustrating than serious, is only likely to clear as nature takes its cause with the passing of time.
Previous City players to suffer from deep bone bruising include Scott Jordan and Rodney Rowe.
Burton Albion knocked out League Two side Peterborough United in last night's FA Cup first round replay when Shaun Harrad's 72nd-minute goal clinched a 1-0 home win.
The Brewers, who won by the same margin in a Conference fixture at York City on Saturday, have now kept four consecutive clean sheets.
Nigel Clough's men will now entertain Burscough in the second round.
