FOR too long now there have been nothing but negative comments about our Lib Dem-run council when I am sure it does its best.
Over the last year or so, all we have read about is useless CCTV cameras, demolishing Burton Croft (when everyone wanted to retain it), or allowing numerous developments (that nobody wants), or car parking charge hikes, or the Barbican fiasco, or the magic traffic lights, or the David Finnegan affair, or the firework non-display, or the surely ill-fated fortnightly waste collection, to name but a few.
Well I think it's time for a change. I want to start a new trend of saying something positive about them so here goes. Erm... erm... that coat that Ann Reid wears in her picture is really nice.
