GENIAL TV weatherman Paul Hudson was so bowled over by the success of his first book Weather Or Not that he's promptly written a second.
It is only two years since that first venture into print, and the Look North weather presenter, who has become a housewives' favourite because of his cheeky charm, admits he wasn't at first that sure he'd have anything to write about second time around.
Perish the thought. That's The Forecast has made great use of the weather photos that viewers send in to Look North each day. It's choc full of atmospheric photographs, including tornadoes, dramatic flashes of lightning, and a wonderful scene of Whitby, all brooding clouds glimpsed through the Whalebone Arch.
This is more than just a picture book, however. Paul recounts amusing anecdotes from his years with the Look North weather unit - and, in a more serious chapter, discusses the effect of climate change upon the weather of Yorkshire.
A great stocking filler.
