IT'S affirmative: YESS has been sold.
Yorkshire Executive Search and Selection (YESS), started by Di Johnson six years ago, has been bought by husband and wife team Angela and Peter Salter for an undisclosed sum.
Now the business has relocated from The Raylor Centre in York to OPSA House, in High Ousegate, York where the couple also run Beaver Employment Ltd.
Angela, director and office manager of Beaver Employment, which also has offices in Hull, said: "We have concentrated on providing temps - secretaries, drivers, housekeepers, teachers in York and North Yorkshire.
"YESS fills a gap and will allow us to concentrate on professional employment too."
Peter Salter, well known locally as commercial manager at the York City Knights, will contribute his technical recruitment knowledge to the new team at YESS-recruit. Di Johnson, pictured, who is also chairman of the North Yorkshire Institute of Directors, said she was delighted the business she built up would maintain its name and continue in good hands.
Now she planned to get involved in marketing, coaching and business support.
" In other words, using my decades of experience wisely," she said.
