A FORMER singer whose body was found in his York flat died of natural causes, police said.
As reported in later editions of last night's Evening Press, police launched an investigation following the "unexplained" death of Bob De-Vries, who once sang with local bands including the punk outfit Cyanide.
Mr De-Vries was found dead in his home in Ebor Street, Clementhorpe, on Wednesday evening.
It was revealed today that a post mortem examination had established that he died of natural causes, and the police investigation was now over.
