Clifton continue to set the pace at the top of the John Smith's Sunday Pool League after a 5-3 win over Burnholme.
Chris Wilbraham won both his frames for Clifton, including the last-frame clincher.
It was honours even in the clash between the two Crystal Palace teams.
Graham Kelly's double helped the 'A' team to a 4-3 lead, but Chris Alfieri took the last frame to earn a draw for the 'B' ranks.
York Health Club raced to a 6-0 lead against visitors Fulford Arms, including two wins apiece from Stu Mortimer and Keith Watkinson, but had to settle for 6-2 after Fulford countered to seize the last two frames.
Ian Jones won the last frame of the match for Fossway at the Brigadier Gerard to claim a 4-4 draw after P Robinson and J Kilmartin had both won their games earlier for the Brigadier.
Despite a double for Pete Smith, Dringhouses were easily beaten 5-3 by Carlton Tavern, whose M Schollick won both his frames.
