IT was another fantastic night at York's Barbican Centre. A chorus of more than 1,300 people took part in a memorable curtain-raiser to the festive season at the city's annual carol concert.
They raised their voices, their spirits, and thousands of pounds for charities which included the Evening Press Guardian Angels appeal. Thank you to all who took part.
The event was another reminder of how important the Barbican is to York. We hope the centre continues to host the city's major civic occasions for many years to come once it reopens in its new guise.
