HARROGATE Town were victims of one of the shock results of the FA Trophy third qualifying round when they went out 1-0 to Solihull Borough.
Town were in command early on and Marc Smith headed against a post.
Solihull came more into the game and scored after Justin Marsden was fouled as he ran clear.
The free-kick was swung in by Danny Hall and Dave Pearson reacted quickly to get the vital touch.
Pete Barry cleared a goal-bound shot from Solihull's line and from the corner Gary Moran did the same.
In the second-half, Solihull pressed for a second goal and a 30-yard drive by Hall hit the crossbar.
Harrogate 'keeper Joe Anyon was penalised for handling outside his area but escaped with a yellow card.
