QUEEN Margaret's School at Escrick are on a sporting roll.
Their senior lacrosse team have just been crowned North champions.
They will be taking part in the Scottish Championships in Edinburgh in January and the National Championships at stowe in March.
Queen Margaret's Under-18 hockey team are just one step away from the finals of the National Schools' Championships.
The squad won four out of five of their matches at the North of England finals to qualify for the northern finals in Manchester on December 6.
The U14s were also flying the flag for North Yorkshire in Sunderland, and they came a creditable third.
Huntington and Queen Margaret's combined to host an 11-team under-14 hockey tournament that only just survived the frosty weather.
St Peter's and Queen Margaret's both made the final and after a hard-fought game the trophy was shared after a 1-1 result.
Sporting partners
OVER the last month every school in the Oaklands School Sports Partnership have taken part in a indoor athletics programme.
A series of festivals have been held at secondary schools to determine who went through to the Partnership final which was being held at Millthorpe School this afternoon.
