SUPER-SUB Dan Wilson scored what is thought to be the fastest hat-trick in York Under-11s schoolboy football history as his side cruised to a 6-0 victory over Bradford.
Wilson came on at half-time and scored his first from close range, outpaced the defence to crash home his second and then clinically finished for his treble.
The Wigginton Primary School pupil had rattled in his hat-trick within ten minutes of coming on.
The pacy Paul Winterburn had given York a 15th-minute lead, with John Stilgoe volleying in the second, while Ash Taylor pierced Wilson's second and third goals with a fine first-time strike from just outside the area.
Elliot Frodsham was accomplished at centre-back, helping goalkeeper James Hall keep his first clean sheet for York.
Man of the match Jules Gabbiadini scored from inside his own half to set York Schoolboys Under-12s on their way to a fine 4-3 win at highly-rated North Tyneside.
Gabbiadini's long-ranger was followed by a goal from Charlie Binns as York dominated early on, before the hosts hit back. George Wilson in the York goal superbly saved a penalty but Tyneside scored soon after.
Nevertheless, Gabbiadini got his second just before half-time and fine football after the break, led by the hard-working Jack Wickham and Jacob Gore, saw Jamie Wilstrop make it 4-1.
Tyneside fought on, though, and, after Wilson made some fine saves, Andrew Simpson a goal-line clearance and Tom Kite some saving tackles, the hosts scored twice late on.
York City Schoolboys Under-13s suffered a 1-3 defeat against Bradford despite leading 1-0 with ten minutes to go.
Adam Thornton put York into the lead with a fine left footed shot into the top corner.
With time running out the York defence were caught out when a miss-hit shot found the bottom corner. Bradford's big forwards made a final push and were rewarded with two late goals.
