CLIFFE's topper was Tom Grundy to turn around their York FA U14s Minor Cup tie against Fulford.
It was Fulford who struck first, but once Grundy levelled Cliffe took command. Grundy added three further goals, supplemented by Michael Brown and Jon-Jo Thompson strikes for a 6-1 win.
Haxby Town went on a 10-0 rampage over Thorpe United, their haul shared between Tom Wheatlands (4), Marco Shepherd (3), Owen Smith, Gavin Minton and Alex Blair.
Thorpe United fared better in the York FA Junior Minor Cup, where they eked out a 2-1 success over Bishopthorpe White Rose. Jordan Lodge and a fine free-kick from Mark Dickinson steered Thorpe into the next round.
Pocklington beat Easingwold Town 'A' 3-1 with goals from Jed Vale, Gary Marriott and Hugh Attwood. Oliver Everard hit Easingwold's lone reply.
Rapid strikes proved the key in a brace of York FA Acaster Steel Cup clashes.
Strensall and Ulleskelf produced an exciting tie which was determined by a fifth-minute strike from Strensall's John Nelson. Strensall were also indebted to goalkeeper Peter Lawrie for a fine penalty save.
Tadcaster Albion needed less than two minutes from the opening whistle to take the lead against Hamilton Panthers, who, within a further 60, levelled through Danny Smith.
By half-time the Panthers led after Jamie Wilstrop applied the perfect finish to a through ball. Wilstrop went on to complete his hat-trick before team-mates Smith and Arran Hudson also scored in a 6-1 win.
Nestl Rowntree defeated Thorpe United 5-0. Cody Atkin notched a hat-trick with Tom Kite and Charlie Binns also scoring.
