YORK RUFC maintained their 100 per cent home record in the Under 19 Yorkshire League Two with a 17-5 victory over previously undefeated Morley at Clifton Park.
The home team forged ahead on the half-hour mark when scrum-half Jack Robertson broke down the blindside from a scrum 15 metres from the Morley line and, although stopped on the line, the arriving forwards helped him over.
York extended their lead on the stroke of half-time when the ball went through several pairs of hands before Kiwi fly-half Paul Little cut in on the angle ten metres out to cross in the corner for a try.
The visitors responded with their only try of the game 11 minutes into the second half before debutant centre Jack Browning sealed York's victory.
Browning broke through Morley's first defenders midway in their half and then sidestepped the visitors' full back to score under the post. Jonny Henley slotted the extras.
