THE enthronement of the Archbishop of York reminded me of the ministry of William Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army.
It was said that when he preached, people came to scoff, but stayed to pray.
It was quite otherwise with Dr Sentamu. When he preached, people came to pray, but stayed to scoff.
