SHERIFF Hutton Bridge have got their noses in front in the Hunters' York and District Senior Indoor Cricket League division one.
However, champions, Acomb 'A', two points behind, have two matches in hand.
Bridge won by three wickets after overhauling Clifton Alliance's 125-5. Nick Scaling top scored for Bridge with an undefeated 46.
Scaling then hit 41 as his side beat Dringhouses by two wickets.
Wilberfoss have won all of their opening five games to head division two, where Stillington's Peter Dalton cracked 74 not out against Carlton Towers - the highest indoor score by any of his club's players.
Stillington won by 52 runs but were then beaten by 41 runs by Bolton Percy.
