The Government proposes to make it illegal to sell cigarettes to people under 18 instead of under 16.
I started smoking at 11. No one was prosecuted.
What's the point of making laws that don't get followed through?
They can make silly laws and pat themselves on the back for doing it, but nothing changes.
Be brave and ban smoking altogether. It won't be a popular move at first but, as a non-smoker after 30 years of smoking, I can say that it will be popular in the end.
"They should have done it years ago" will be the buzzword of the new, smoke free world!
