City of York Hockey Club Under-12 Girls topped the Yorkshire Youth League 'A' Division at Leeds.
They began with a 1-0 victory against their 'B' team, Hannah Garnett getting the decisive goal.
They then drew 0-0 with Driffield and beat Wakefield 'A' 1-0 with a well struck short corner by Lauren Boddison.
Hannah Garnett and Charlotte McDermottroe were on target in a 2-0 victory against Leeds 'A' and goals by Ruth Tyrrell and Lauren Boddison earned a 2-0 win against Harrogate.
York 'B' beat Leeds 'A' 2-0 with goals from Sarah Clay and Hettie Cust.
Two 1-0 defeats to Wakefield 'A' and Driffield 'A' were followed by a goalless draw with Harrogate for the team to remain in the division.
York 'C' were playing in the 'C' Division for the first time. Their results were v Ben Rhydding 'B' (0-0), LA Carnegie (0-1), Driffield 'B (0-0), Wakefield 'B' (1-0, Sarah Kelly) and Slazengers 'A' (0-1).
