EVENING Press readers have shared in Kelsie Copping's remarkable life.
She was only four when doctors discovered she had multiple sclerosis, making her the youngest known victim of this terrible illness. Despite a life blighted by pain and regular hospital stays, Kelsie was known for her smile and her loving nature.
When her family bravely took the decision to talk to us about the plight of their "pink princess", it touched the hearts of our readers. Within a few months enough money had been raised to send Kelsie on a dream trip to Disneyland.
At her funeral, family and friends paid tribute to a girl who gave so much joy in her short life. And in that spirit of giving, a collection was taken for our Guardian Angels appeal. For which we can only say thank you.
