THE Priory Street Rock Church, in York, has scored again with the great Father Christmas arrival.
Crowds of children roared with delight as he appeared on the rooftop with his sack of toys. What a great idea, what a spectacle, even great grandma had a gleam in her eyes and the children were jumping with joy.
The way along to see Santa was very well thought out and I would say it was on a par with the display at the Co-op shop in George Hudson Street, York, many years ago, which I fondly remember taking my children to.
My two-year-old great granddaughter was delighted with her present too. Well done, and a very happy Christmas to everyone concerned. Isn't it nice to see Santa and believe every word he says? I still do!

St Stephens Road,
