IT is all change at the top of division one of the York John Smith's Sunday Morning Football League as Marcia were toppled in sensational fashion.
They crashed 5-1 to Severus SC as the title race heated up a few more degrees.
Severus's dominance was rewarded with goals from Watson (2), Hutchinson, Joey Depa and Mark Woodward with Marcia's reply coming from Andy Green.
The new leaders are Derwent United, who cruised past Selby Olympia WMC 4-1 with a Simon Collins hat-trick doing the bulk of the damage. Bradshaw also netted for United with Shackle finding the net for Selby.
Thorpe United edged out Ainsty Panthers in a tense 4-3 victory thanks to goals from Gavin Clamp (2), Craig Hewitt, and Paul Tanton.
Nestl Flag secured a 2-0 win over Pocklington thanks to goals by Gary Mitchinson and Chris Dyson.
Nestl Volunteers and Acomb WMC fought out a tight match with Volunteers running out 3-2 winners with goals by Jackson (2) and Wain. Acomb, still chasing their first win of the season, hit back through Young and Kidds.
Only goal difference is separating the top two in division two with leaders Cueball Fulford maintaining their push for promotion with a 6-0 thrashing of Burnholme. Joe Smart hit a hat-trick while Jon Sargent (2) and Sean Lyons also got on the scoresheet.
Undefeated Shipton eased past Deramore Arms 2-0 courtesy of Blake's two-goal strike. They are equal on points with Cueball.
Third-placed York Nomads ran riot in their 10-1 battering of Hemingbrough, while Bishopthorpe failed to turn their dominance into goals and were held 1-1 at home by Shoulder of Mutton. Ben Sykes gave Bishops the lead after a goalless first half but Mutton grabbed an equaliser five minutes from the end.
In division three, Heworth had to work hard in their 3-2 win over Bay Horse Tadcaster. Leading 2-0 at the break thanks to goals from Jonathan Bulmer and Calum McKenzie, it took an own goal to clinch victory. Bay Horse's goals came from Shooter and Sebine.
Beeswing swept aside Selby Olympia Reserves 7-2 while Wilberfoss had Gibson, Tomlinson and Hardcastle on target in their 3-1 victory over Inland Revenue, for whom Chris Hilton netted a consolation.
Wanderers maintained their three-point lead at the top of division four after hammering Castle Howard Ox 9-3 with Mike Cammidge and Darren Brandon each scoring hat-tricks. Other Wanderers goals were netted by John Gothard, Matt Hartas and Gary Newton.
Enterprise's rise up the table gained momentum with a 5-2 win over Carlton Tavern, with Whelerton (2), Nicholson, Hartley and Holt finding the net.
Another side on the up are Gipsy Moth, who beat Rumours 4-2 with Darren Watson (2), Dan Oxtoby and Joe Ratcliffe on target. Beddows and Ollive replied for Rumours.
Albion Vaults stayed close to the leading pack with a 5-2 win over CPP. Dave Reesbeck scored twice for Vaults with other goals coming from Lee Ward, Chris Charlesworth and Adam Gurning.
Cueball Fulford Reserves earned a gritty 2-1 victory over a free falling Thomas's Hotel. Steve Fenwick opened the scoring for Cueball followed by a superb strike from Dom Tomaino. Cliff Baxter netted Hotel's solo effort.
Firkin 103 moved into second place in division five after they strolled past Forest FC 4-1 with a double for Gary Sullivan and goals by Andy Hird and Gavin Tate. Michael Craven scored for Forest.
Cawood dropped vital points in their 3-3 draw with an improving Pocklington Rangers. Scorers for Cawood were McLoughlin (2) and Cronian while Ignjatovic, Pearson and Coxall were on target for Pock.
Acorn and FC Barlby shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Cuthbert scored both Acorn goals with Sean Bugg and Steve Davis replying for Barlby.
