Tony and Tanya Finley, of Steeple Close, in Wigginton, have pledged to use their festive lights to raise funds for the Evening Press's Guardian Angels appeal.
The couple have put on the seasonal show for their neighbours for the last three years, but they decided to collect cash for the appeal after Tony's two-year-old niece, Isabella, died of leukaemia.
Tanya said: "We were deciding which charity to support and we thought of Guardian Angels because she was in hospital and received such wonderful care."
The couple are asking their neighbours to contribute to the appeal and they say they have already had money pouring in from supporters.
Tanya said: "Last year we had loads of good comments from our neighbours saying thanks for making our Christmas wonderful. It is something that everyone can see and everyone can share and it is more special this year because we are doing it for such a good cause."
