DERRY Brabbs spent the best part of a decade taking the photographs for Wainwright's large-format illustrated walking guides to the Lakeland fells.
This sumptuous volume contains more than 300 spectacular photos from all over Britain. But it also includes tales from Derry's early days as a photographer, including his first meeting with Wainwright, and - in the informative captions - a wealth of advice for the would-be outdoor photographer.
The book was published in September but would make an ideal Christmas gift for a photographer with a love of the outdoors.
