OTISDALE, the fast-growing York-based estate agent, has extended its operation with the launch of a new Selby office.
Five new jobs are being created with the opening of the two-storey premises in The Crescent, Selby, on Thursday.
The new office, which represents an initial £150,000 investment for Otisdale, will serve house sellers and buyers within a 20-mile radius of the town and include the company's main board room and training room
Reuben Barrett, Otisdale's managing director said: "We believe that Selby is ready to take off in a new stage in its development. People want to live there because house prices are not yet as high as in other parts of North Yorkshire. There is also a good number of business start-ups and inward investment is buoyant. This is why we have selected the town as an ideal location for Otisdale's pro-active approach to selling. We are looking forward to playing a role in Selby's vibrant business community."
The new office comes hot on the heels of Otisdale's new base in Goole which opened with the creation of four new jobs in October and which the company says is exceeding its sales expectations. Otisdale, which has 16 staff, opened its first office in Micklegate, York, in summer 2004.
