I have only one question about the fireworks: why on Earth did all those people go to the Minster area to see them?
Common sense should have told them that unless the fireworks went off from the buildings round that area, they were never going to be seen there as all the buildings are quite tall.
Mr Galloway and his group may not be the best administration in York, but what real alternative is there in York at the moment?
Labour just appear to be involved in petty point scoring; they appear to have lost all sense of being an opposition.
The Conservatives - have we got any in York?
The Greens: I look forward to the day they run the country, never mind the city, but at this time they are struggling to get their point across and will not be a credible alternative in York for a few years yet.
To sum up: no matter what the Lib Dems did, they would have been wrong in someone's eyes.
