DEATH curtails many ambitions. But not the desire to be famous.
Kick the bucket today and tomorrow you could star in Ghost Towns Live, a sort of Big Brother for the dearly departed. Psychic Derek Acorah plays Davina, turning lost souls into celebrities - and he's on his way to York.
There is a spectral pecking order, of course. Historical hauntings are big crowd pleasers: the crazed coachman driving his six horses down an ancient highway will always have more impact than a phantom bus conductor, however chillingly he clips the tickets.
So it helps if you've got an act. Chuck around a few plates on camera and, before long, you could be the nation's poltergeist pin-up.
Whoo, as they say on the other side (and we're not talking BBC2).
