FORMER York RLC director Paul Duffield has died.
Mr Duffield, was heavily involved with the old Colts youth set-up - more commonly known these days as academies - while a director at the club, and he remained a big York fan.
He passed away on Monday after a long illness.
Mr Duffield was 46 when he joined the York RL board in October 1979. He was also president of local cycling club VC York.
He was managing director of the Fulford garage firm H Duffield and Son, based in Main Street.
