YORK Groves are hoping their new-look kit will help them pave their way to Pennine League division five success.

The mid-table outfit, out of action this week with scheduled opponents Birkenshaw 'A' having folded, have unveiled their new kit sponsors.

Pavers Shoes have signed up as the main kit supporter with several other firms adding their backing, including D Battle Plumbing and Heating, who are the back-of-shirt sponsors.

Former York RL star Ian Paver, outlet director of the York-based shoe company, said: "It's a pleasure for Pavers to get involved with such a ago-ahead community-based team as York Groves, and hope to be involved in many successful seasons to come."

The team will be wearing Fraward Plumbers Merchants and Italian shoe firm Fly Flot logos on their sleeves, while they will also have the support of Hague and Dixon Solicitors literally behind them as the shorts sponsors.
