The Game Conservancy Trust are about to run their gamekeepers' course in the north of England for the first time this year.
The two-day course at Harewood Estate, Harrogate will take place from March 14-16 and will include training on trapping legislation, habitat, agri-environment schemes, gamebird releasing, densities and health.
Accommodation is available nearby and full details are available via the Game Conservancy website at http://www.gct.org.uk/
We hope to be able to bring you a full report on this website about the Game Conservancy's pro-active approach to conservation in the countryside later in March.
