REGARDING "Asda Spin Mum Is Parking Mad" (January 12): aside from the inconsistencies in your report, even if the facts were straight, how is this newsworthy?
The correct precept is not leaving children unattended in a shopping trolley and while Mrs Bell is quick to blast Asda bosses, she should question her own actions.
I suppose if one of the children had fallen out of the trolley, while unattended, that would be the fault of Asda bosses too? I am sure the friendly staff at Asda would have assisted Mrs Bell had she requested them to do so.
To add clout to your story your picture shows a tribe of children in a shopping trolley, two of whom had nothing whatsoever to do with the original incident. What is the crux of this?
Apart from looking downright dangerous, I can only surmise that Harry and Eva's mates will be impressed that their picture was in the Evening Press. Get a grip woman.
