UNION Rovers went back to the top of the RJF Homes-Beckett League division one with a crushing 8-0 home win against Slingsby.
Rovers were 1-0 up at half-time through Richard Abbey but moved up a gear after the interval with goals from Peter Tiffany (2), Paul Holder, Abbey, Chris Wilkinson, an opponent and Dwaine Young.
A Marc Dobson double earned Black Swan, Pickering a share of the points in a 2-2 draw at Kirkdale United, whose goals were bagged by Philip Charlton and Ian Pendergast.
Third-placed Aislaby United recorded a 5-0 win over Rosedale - three of them from the penalty spot.
Nick Wilkinson (two penalties), Richard Pugh, Adam Hornby and Bobby Brewer (penalty) were the men on the mark.
Gillamoor improved their division two title chances with a 4-0 win against in-form Coxwold. Mark Robinson was the hero with a memorable hat-trick, while Gary Stamper weighed in with the other goal.
