Selby Town were back on the winning trail in the Northern Counties East League premier division with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Glapwell at Flaxley Road.
The visitors started brightly and they deservedly went in at half time leading 1-0 thanks to a 29th minute goal from Adam Walker.
The Robins stepped up a gear in the second half and they were level after 53 minutes when a good cross from Stuart Lee was hammered home by Ian Twitchen, who provider four minutes later when his pass put Adam Wash in for the winner.
Glapwell continued to work hard but they were unable to create any clear cut chances against a solid looking Selby defence.
It was a long night for Harrogate Railway who drew their NCEL Cup third round tie at Gedling 1-1.
Harrogate took a 65th minute lead with a Scott Ryan penalty after Graham Marchant was brought down in the box by a home defender, who was sent off.
Gedling battled back to equalise in the 89th minute and there was little to choose between the two teams in extra time and they will replay at Station View next week.
