IT'S something to squeak about! Serial entrepreneur and mum-of-two Nicky Ghouri, of Thirsk, is creating a high street buzz with a new range of toddlers' shoes...that squeak.
BeeSqueaky shoes are quality soft leather and canvas shoes aimed at toddlers and are designed to make a small squeak as the child walks. Apart from being fun and novel, they also offer many benefits to child and parent alike.
Nicky said: "Through listening to the squeak the child is stimulated and motivated to walk, and for parents they offer a high level of security in knowing their child is close by.
"I know breaking in to a market is hard, so you need something different enough. We have exactly that with BeeSqueaky shoes. We can offer retailers a package comprising solid branding, sales support, high margins, and unique product features and benefits"
BeeSqueaky is officially launching at the PremierKIDS trade show at the NEC in Birmingham at the end of this month, but as Nicky said: "It's amazing. Even before the official launch, we already have 42 inquiries from retailers, including some major high street brands."
Nicky already runs her own photography business, Angels photography, in addition to a franchise business, Little Angels, where she specialises in photographing nursery children.
