THIS looks like being my quietest year ever. The meals-on-wheels service, for which I drive, is under threat, while sing-alongs in old peoples homes may discontinue because of the need for a licence.
For the past ten years I have finished my meals round and dashed to Rowntree for a lift, every second Friday, to play piano for the Rowntree pensioners choir.
We were treated to a Christmas lunch by Nestl this year before our final appearance.
I can't wait for the brass band to get out travelling again in April.
