HARROGATE Town boss Neil Aspin is expecting Nuneaton Borough to suffer no FA Cup hangover when they visit Wetherby Road tomorrow - in fact, he fears the opposite.

Nuneaton's cup heroics saw them take Premiership outfit Middlesbrough to a third-round replay and then give another inspirational display at the Riverside, albeit in a 5-2 defeat, on Tuesday night.

The Warwickshire side now get back to the grindstone of Nationwide North action, coming to Yorkshire looking to re-establish their title quest.

But rather than suffer a weary downturn in form, Aspin reckons their cup run could have a positive effect.

"We had a similar situation when we played Torquay United in the cup," he said.

"That game went to extra-time and penalties and in our next game we gave our best performance of the season, winning 4-0 at Hednesford. Therefore, I don't think it will affect them."

Forward Gez Murphy will be the man to watch for Nuneaton.

His last-minute penalty earned the 1-1 draw in the first game against Boro and he scored two more, including another penalty, on Tuesday, all of which led to him being named the Player of the Round in an FA poll.

Aspin added: "I've been very impressed with Nuneaton. They beat us 4-0 earlier in the season and this will be a very tough game for us.

"We will have to be at our very best to get anything out of it."

Town nevertheless go into the game in good form themselves following their 1-0 win over play-off rivals Hucknall Town, with Aspin likely to keep a similar line-up to the one that cemented their fourth place.
