REGARDING Ben Drake's letter "BNP Concerns" (January 10).
As I understand it, the only British National Party (BNP) leaflets put out in Clifton, York, were concerning terrorism and had nothing to do with the Arc Light controversy.
Could this be another case of a left winger being economical with the truth?
How can a trade union official accuse anyone of being thugs and bigots? I have experienced bigotry first-hand when witnessing the disgraceful behaviour and foul language used by the great unwashed rabble who are members of Unite Against Fascism (UAF).
And the bigotry that can be experienced at trade union meetings if any member dares to put a point of view that goes against Marxist ideology is astounding.
Those people who support UAF would like nothing better than to see this country become a fully totalitarian state with even more of Blair's storm troopers enforcing political correctness than we have at the moment. And God knows it's bad enough now.
Mr M Bowker,
Deepdale,
York.
