MARTIN Lowe hit the highspots for Coneysthorpe against Holgate WMC 'A' in division one of the NEDL York and District Table Tennis League.
He won all his three matches to help the team win 6-4. John Farmery and Graham Hatfield each won a couple of games for Holgate.
Brian Quinn and Jill Rounce were unbeaten as York RI 'B' enjoyed a 8-2 victory over Groves WMC 'A'.
Three wins by Mick Wilcockson were not enough to stop Sessions 'A' losing 6-4 to Groves WMC 'B' team, whose David Jackson and John Xu each won twice.
Mark Hughes led the way with three wins as division two leaders Poppleton 'A' beat York RI 'A' 6-4.
Dave Hough's three victories helped Sessions 'B' draw 5-5 with York RI 'C'.
In-form Dave Lamb chalked up three wins to help Nestl Rowntree 'B' to a 6-4 win over Holgate WMC 'B'. Ed Wardman won twice for Holgate.
Division three leaders Bootham Conservative Club 'C' defeated Northern Electric 7-3, with Gareth Bryning winning three and Bob Plant and Steve Milner two each.
Coneysthorpe 'B' kept up their challenge by beating York RI 'E' 9-1, Daniel Foxton and Malcolm Haswell each winning three times.
BT 'A' and Groves WMC 'C' finished all square at 5-5, Howard Broadbent and Julian Somers each winning twice for BT, Paul Kozyra responding for Groves.
Brian Milner won his three games for BT 'B' in their 6-4 victory win over Poppleton 'B'.
Despite being unbeaten, Jon Soanes (Poppleton 'C') ended up on the losing side against York RI 'F' in division four as Tim Griffith Anne Barnard and Brian Walton each won two for RI.
In division five, David Atkinson and Nigel Baker steered Shepherds 'C' to an 8-2 win over York RI 'K'.
Division five leaders Groves WMC 'D' sank York RI 'G' 9-1, Mike Belton, Keith Hood and Steve Potter winning three each.
Tracey Jones led the way as Norwich Union 'B' beat York RI 'J' 6-4 in division six.
