THERE was away-day glee in Leeper Hare League division two as the only home side to take any points were Tadcaster Albion Reserves, who beat Civil Service 3-0 with goals from Sam Farthing, Matt Holgate and Mike Briscombe.
Leaders Poppleton defeated Barmby Moor 5-0 while Riccall beat local rivals Heming-brough for the third time this season with a comfortable 2-0 win, Dean Westwood and Liam Brown netting in the first half.
Fulford enjoyed another smash and grab raid as they won 1-0 at Selby RSSC. Under pressure for much of the game, they stole the points with a Carl Hodgson penalty in injury time to extend their unbeaten run to four games. Moor Lane moved out of the relegation zone as an own goal gave them a 1-0 win at White Horse.
Back-to-back wins for Osbaldwick against previously unbeaten Norton have given them a three-point cushion at the top of division three. Both their goals in the 2-1 win came from Paul Crangle, with Stuart Ellis replying.
Third-placed St Clements trailed to a Liam King goal at LNER Builders but won 3-1 with goals from John Allcock (2) and Mark Harrison.
Bottom side Wheldrake were level with Cawood with less than half an hour left, but the Selby side won 6-2 through Simon Marlow, Ray Meahan, Andy Oldfield (2) and Wayne Couthard (2).
Huby had to work hard to maintain their unbeaten record before edging home 2-1 over local rivals Stillington.
Wayne Howells put Huby ahead against his former team and, although Shaun Speck levelled, Huby's Arthur Broad-bent got the decider, in off a post, five minutes from time.
Strensall twice drew level at Heworth, through George Curtis and Mike Pipe, but Heworth won 3-2 with goals from Paul Locker, Kevin Ingleby and Tamin Sherris.
Rawcliffe avenged last week's defeat at Melbourne by hammering them 8-0. Matt Fern (3) led the way, with Lee Fisher, Carl Smith, David Stoner, an og and Danny Coulson completing the rout.
