HEATH Brown's late goal secured a 2-1 victory for the York Leeper Hare League representative side against their Leeds Red Triangle counterparts.
Old Malton's Brown converted a low Dave Bradshaw cross to clinch victory in the 88th minute at Tadcaster Albion FC.
Chris Burgess, of Dunnington, had earlier given York a first half lead with a confident finish before the visitors levelled five minutes from time.
Joint manager Bill Pearce was pleased with his side's performance, but added: "The only disappointment was that the three players selected from Dringhouses chose not to play for us and gave no explanation."
