Milton Bradley may be past retirement age, but the Chepstow trainer continues to passionately ply his trade winter and summer with the enthusiasm of a man half his years.
Tomorrow at Southwell, at a run-of-the-mill 'banded' meeting, Bradley is set to turn out yet again and can deservedly score a double with Boanerges and Aintnecessarilyso.
The former, who goes for the Betdirect Skytext Stakes over six furlongs, won on this course last week over the minimum distance when he beat Freshwinds by a length and a quarter.
Tomorrow's longer distance, over which he had scored previously, should not present him with any problems and he is fancied to defy a penalty under Jamie Mackay.
Neil Callan takes the mount on Aintnecessarilyso in the footballpools.com Banded Stakes over seven furlongs.
The eight-year-old gelding is overdue a winning turn after a stout effort over this course and distance recently when he failed by only a length to get the better of the in-form Sierra.
Well drawn tomorrow in stall three, Aintnecessarilyso has strong claims on going one better.
Moon Shot should prove hard to beat as he bids to provide Callan with another winner in the Betdirect Freephone Banded Stakes.
Alan Juckes' grey, now a ten-year-old, is in cracking form. He was a comfortable winner here 12 days ago when he had Bulberry Hill in second place. There should not be much to choose between the pair tomorrow, but Moon Shot is napped to confirm his superiority.
Tony Culhane, who lives near Thirsk, is enjoying a lucrative winter on the all-weather circuit, and the North Yorkshire jockey, who gained his 1,000th career success last backend, has good prospects aboard Swords in the one-mile claiming race.
A good second to Young Mick at Wolverhampton last time and beaten by only a head by Velocitas on the same course last month, Paul Howling's charge will be hard to beat if transferring that form on Polytrack to tomorrow's Fibresand course.
At Taunton, the in-form combination of Lambourn trainer Charlie Mann and his number one jockey Noel Fehily can take the £10,000 Deane Veterinary Centre Handicap Chase with Alphabetical.
A wide-margin winner at Fontwell last time, the seven-year-old may be capable of taking further strides up the chasing ladder. Mann and Fehily won with Hoh Viss at Southwell on Saturday.
