ROB Hulse is hoping for a recall as Leeds United resume their promotion quest at Ipswich tomorrow night, but he faces strong competition from fellow striker Richard Cresswell.
Ten-goal Hulse served a one-match suspension, missing the 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road a week last Saturday. In his absence Cresswell took his chance with two excellent goals, leaving manager Kevin Blackwell a welcome selection problem at Portman Road.
With Robbie Blake in form and David Healy, Ian Moore and Michael Ricketts also available, Blackwell has an abundance of strikers to choose from as United go in search of revenge for their 2-0 home defeat against Joe Royle's team in September.
With York-born Matthew Kilgallon still injured, Sean Gregan will continue alongside skipper Paul Butler in central defence, while Liam Miller, Shaun Derry and Jonathan Douglas are again expected to form the midfield, with Eddie Lewis providing support for the front two.
Eirik Bakke is eligible to play after his loan spell at Aston Villa, but a hamstring injury means he is unlikely to figure until the home game against QPR on Saturday at the earliest.
Blackwell has already told Bakke he cannot expect to walk straight back into a team that has taken 15 points from the last 18 available.
